Critical statistics is the ability to understand and evaluate statistical information. It's about being able to look beyond the headlines and see what the data is really saying. How to Critically Evaluate Statistics

There are a few key steps to critically evaluating statistics:

Look for bias. Bias can be intentional or unintentional, and it can distort the results of a study. Be aware of the potential for bias and look for evidence of it in the data.
